With love and respect we say goodbye
Mark passed away peacefully this morning with Patty by his side.
The Sutton family has been incredibly open and gracious in sharing updates, knowing how deeply loved and respected Mark was and how many lives he touched.
We all know Mark valued living life fully. His passing was quiet, peaceful and in a way that honored who he was.
His family is deeply grateful for your prayers, love and support.
Service details will be shared once plans are in place.
On behalf of my Mom and our family I would like to Thank you all for all the thoughts and prayers. We have felt them all. We know how much everyone loved him and we are all heart broken but he would only want everyone to continue living their best lives as he did.
I have the greatest respect for the Sutton family and their tough decision of love for this man, because nobody would understand it and appreciate it more than Mark himself. He was a great example of life, wearing every title he ever held from grandparent to industry executive with pride, honor, respect, humility and humor. It was such a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with him, share a boat with him and laugh with him. I’m quite sure we did more of the latter than the others, and I have such wonderful memories in my mind as proof (along with some pretty funny photos and videos). My deepest sympathy to Patty and all of his family in this difficult time of loss of such an awesome guy. He won’t be forgotten!
